Umpire informs the offending team captain and warns the player, the umpire must also inform the League Secretary within 72 hours of the conclusion of the game.
Level 1, 2, 3 and 4 Report
Umpire informs the offending team captain and/or player(s) of the intended Umpires report.
Umpire Report Form submitted to the League Secretary within 72 hours of the conclusion of the game.
The League Secretary upon receipt of the umpires’ report will inform the Discipline Chairman and send him a copy of the Umpires report together with any other relevant documents.
The Discipline Chairman in consultation with the Discipline Review Committee will decide the category and nature of the offence together with a provisional hearing date, should it be required. This information will be passed to the League Secretary for onward transmission to the offending players club.
The League Secretary sends the Umpires Report Form together with any other relevant documents as well as the Discipline Review Committee decision to the offending players club. On receipt, the club have 7 days to respond to the report detailing what action, if any, it has taken in response to the alleged breach.
The League Secretary on receipt passes the clubs response to the Discipline Chairman. The Discipline Chairman, in consultation with the Discipline Review Committee will then determine one of the following:
No further Action required
Endorse the Club decision
Instigate a Full Disciplinary Hearing
On conclusion of the discipline process the League Secretary will inform the Umpires of the outcome.If playing suspensions are imposed by the Discipline Review Committee these will be circulated to appropriate leagues and associations by the League Secretary.
